"Having struggled for over a year with colour management problems with my monitor/workspace , I was on the verge of of giving digital a miss until I felt the technology had caught up with photographers’ demands. Many of my images have very strong colours and I am meticulous about matching the colours of my transparencies to my prints. This was a frustrating and often futile exercise prior to having my system profiled and using a professional, profiled lab. As "events co-ordinator" with the AIPP (WA), I arranged a seminar on colour management and invited Nadish as a key note speaker. The outcome from the seminar and subsequent work by Nadish with many WA photographers and labs has meant most colour problems have been addressed with vast improvements to the finished results. It was refreshing in the process to have someone who not only solved problems, but patiently explained what was happening in lay language.
